Hicky's Family Life & Crisies

On Sunday we decided to have a nice Family Day out, it was only to the Coast, but our little one loved it. We ending up in Skegness. There was a few people about. And the weather was great, there was a bit of a breeze.

The only thing letting the hold day down was when our little one wanted a Wee, we did put a pull up on just in case that we was nowhere near any Toilets, a couple of times she wanted the toilet and we was nowhere near, so told her "if she wees in pull up not to worry its not her fault" Bless her little cotton socks she didnt do anything, and waited till we could find the toilet's. Partner took her to the toilets where we normal go as they smell clear and are clean, as partner is very funny about public toilet's. On arriving at the toilets we found out that it was gonna cost 40p to take daughter to the toilet, so partner did no more and "picked" her up so it only cost 20p, but there was a cleaning assitant on, "he said put your 20p in the machine and when green light shows send the little one through, and then you do the same!" My partner is very shy and wouldnt say "boo to a goose" but this cleaning assitant really made her mad, as our little one might not have done anything,but at the end of the day I thing its all wrong to charge people to use the toilets! It cost us £1 in all with going to the toilet's and that was only with our little one! She is going through, a stage at the minute where she is always wanting to go to the toilet's, she's like this when we go visiting family, and friends!

Anyway thats my grip over about the cost of public toilets

Our Daughter did her first "Sponsored Obstacle Course" today. It was 10 laps around 5 Objects... ie on a slide, stepping over things, jumping and balancing etc. She did really well concidering she is a very shy Toddler, I think she had a "shock" when she came into the Hall, as she stopped in her tracks, to see all the parents. At one point I thought she was going to cry! They did it in to groups of toddler's, it took each group about 25/30 mins which wasn't to bad. It was great seeing all the toddler's have fun, so of them made ya laugh the way they was doing it! (But all the kids did really great)

I thought with all the execise our daughter, has done today she would be in bed earlier then normal, but no! 8pm again with a DVD on.....

All the money that was raised is going to the Nursery and School to fund day trips out, etc. Which I think is a great idea!! Sometime in July I know that our Daughter is having a day trip out, but don't know where yet. Not had a letter about it, only that it said in a "News letter" which we get once a month! But that time will soon come and I will post about it!

As you would have read in previous post, I was on the hunt for a New Laptop for partner! After spending time in one of the store's they couldn't come up with a great deal, so we walked away!!

Within a few minutes we went into anyother Store and found a nice Laptop, everything that we wanted! Sales man approached asked if he could help.... I answered.. "only if you can do me a better deal then I've just been offered!!" And he was running though a few things with us, and he got us a "deal" we was looking for.. So We walked out with a Laptop, Belkin G+ router and a pack of 5 DVD-RW all for £355.

Other place was £375 just for laptop and he said thats all he could do, no money off, or free gifts etc.

I think I got a great deal!

So Friday afternoon, I made some special person very happy

The day has final come where i promised my partner that I would get her a new Laptop.... So watch this space PC World, Comets and Currys LOL (The program "Dont get done, get Dom" comes to my mind!!) What a great, program it was.....

So its all down to me getting the best deal as partner wont dare do any good old haggling, the best way is tell them its all going to be cash, and what are they going to throw in or knock off LOL

Well we will see what happens later today, will do a update on the "Best Deal" I got later today!

Well this is my first post on our family blog. If your still reading this at the end then good!! As I've still got your attention LOL

Well I'm Robin and I live with my partner and daughter, not forgetting our 2 lovely Cavalier King Charles. Well at the minute 5, as our girl had puppies 8 weeks ago, she had a litter of 4, one of then went last Saturday, and another one goes tomorrow afternoon. Well thats enough on the dogs has they have there own blog!! It's www.charliesangelsdogslife.blogspot.com that will give you more information on them!!

We have a busy life, as love going to Carboots, having coffee with our friends and going on Holiday in our touring caravan, which most of all our holidays have got to be during school terms now as our 3 year old, started Nursery in January, but when we do go on holiday, it's always to Norfork as its beautiful there and the people are so friendly and we have some friends there aswell!

Sometimes I go and chill out and do fishing at a local Lake near to Father-in-law to be, partner can't stand the sport, so she spends the day with daughter, and they do what ever they can depending on the weather etc. But they do, some craft work together as partner does "Handmade cards" so the little one gets her hands in and try's to help!
