But we thought yesterday the 4th. We thought that was the last of it!! but no! Got up this morning at 5.15am and there was "NO" snow... then the alarm goes off at 7.15am... looks out the window and the ground was covered.... we had snow fall for a good 4 hours... But once again its turning to ice again!</p> <p>But at least my partner did go outside this afternoon and make a snowman with our little one... she loves the snow and was having a right good snow ball fight with her mum! Not the best Snowman... partner can build a better one but she used the excuse that she had no gloves on!! "Everything" We final finished painting the walls on Monday, and partner couldn't wait to get her new "Shiny" out! I brought her a new kettle, toaster! She loves working in the kitchen now! Even we have started having our meals in there at the breakfast bar! "Well there is a reason for eating all our meals in the kitchen it's not because of the new decor....!! Just got the painting of the walls to do... tomorrow we think! And to add the rest of the transfer tiles to the rest of the white tiles thats left! But its not been as easy as we thought it would be. We ahve had all the cupboard doors off to sand, and gone round all the wood work with a sander..... god we had enough dust to last us a life time!! LOL Well all the glossing of the wood works all been done. But we came across a problem with the cupboards doors we was going to paint them, but it was not going on right so we went and got ourself some Fablon and done all the units with that. But the big problem was the Ceiling, the people that lived here, must love painting, as the ceiling was a light blue, so its taking some painting.... its had 3 coats of white... but will need some more. Once all the paint is dry its straigh to hanging the paper.... partner loves papering. So hopefully by this time next week we will have a nice new looking kitchen... and set straight, as we had to put all our pots and that in a box and put them in our living room so that they done get broke and dusty.</p> <p>I will pop pictures of the finished kicthen once its set straight.. Wish we took picture of the kitchen before we started on it and so that we had the before picture's and the after ones..... We had a great time. But I will admit that we took the Decorations down on the 30th.... partner was getting sick of seeing them and wanted to get her Living room back to normal.... plus they collect far to much dust. </p> <p>We have got a busy few months ahead of us as we want to get all the house re-decorated, well not all the house but the Kitchen, Living Room, Hall stairs and landing, Our daughters room and last of all just paint our bedroom, as it was painted last year. We keep saying to our friends that we having a decorating party we will supply food and booze LOL well the booze once the paper is on straigh! LOL And we want to get out in the garden once the weather warms up as we gonna have buckets of weeds off it! And want to plant more flowers and that. I took this snap of the Ice Rink while we was in town the other day, our little girl wants to go on it, but both myself and partner wont go on it, as we would spend more time on our bums them on our feet.... and knowing our luck, our little one would show us up!! LOL "But she did come out with "Well Grandad can take me on it" So we said yes thats a good idea, but he will need a sledge.... "I just hope that we didn't put idea's into her head!" All the living room is now re-plastered, thats was finished on Friday night at 5pm. We didnt really see much dust.... as we lived upstairs in our bedroom from 7.30am til 5pm. The days was boring really, and living in the bedroom is not our idea of happy living. But to break everything up we did go to a friends house on Friday night and had a great Halloween party.... yep we adults all dressed up!! It was good to just get out for a couple of hours from the dust and our same old 4 walls. But now this morning comes..... 7.30am on the dot, work men are here to start taking plaster off our Hall, Stairs and Landing. We are now back in living room with just tv and sofa for now till after work men have finished.... hoping wednesday will be the day they finish, so that we can go back to setting straight and start getting our house set straight, as all rooms upside down, as we got stuff in our daughters bedroom and our bedroom from our living room. And we are fighting the dust!! LOL There is enough dust to last a life time here! We are hoping to get everything sorted before this Saturday... 8th as our little girl will be 4, and we are going to be having a little party for her, with a few fireworks and that. As all our living room walls have got to be re-plastered! We decided to take old paper off and re-decorate our living room ready for Christmas, but we had to have the council out as all the plaster was falling off the wall, even when you just touched it, it was dropping into your hands. So yesterday the council man gave one look at a piece under the window and said "the whole room will need re-doing" My poor partner's face colour just drained!! But also I reported the Hall and Landing and this needs all re-plasting, so its going to be very dusty, once they start! They are going to give us 48 hours to clear out the living room and landing, then it will be "DUST EVERYWHERE" and so we are going to be very busy! But our little one went back last Wednesday 3rd September... And she started mornings from 9.10 to 11.40, we was dreading it as she had nearly 7 weeks off and had a feeling she was going to cry just like when she started in January this year, she sobbed her eyes out for the whole week, but week 2 was better!</p> <p>But it was great we never had any tears, she was just clinging onto us, but once she got a book and joined the other children she was great! She even got a new uniform, they are a nice navy blue.... alot better then the "Red" colour they had before! And the first Uniform was "FREE" so we was pleased about that!</p> <p>Saffron is settling down in nursery nice again now..... the only problem we are having is at bed time.... she will not go to bed early, she wants to stop up, and play! Even know she been up since 7.15am she is still on the go at 9pm or some times later. We want to try and get her into the rountine of bath, hot milk and bed by 8.15..... But at the minute, we are having no joys, and she is not happy in the morning, but are hoping she will settle by 8.30pm, its still early days at minute, but maybe by the end off this week, the bed time routing will kick in!!! After our 10 day break at the beginning of August, then there was all the washing to catch up with. Then there was the garden, grass and weeds to get back on top with, as the grass had grown like wildfire! LOL </p> <p>But we had a fab holiday, spent most of the days at the beach as weather was grand! Then at night we went down to "Chapel St Lenards" for the evening, and took out little one, on the rides, and had a go on the 2p machines, which she was after the toys that was in the machine, she did have some toys out of them, with the assistance of myself and partner, so she was one happy little girl!<br> We was hoping to get away at the end of August but that didnt happy, as money was tight, and the weather wasnt very good! </p> <p>But we did have a nice day trip out, to "Sundown Adventureland" it was a great day weather wise, we've been there before but a few year ago, and its all changed. We was big kids for the day, I dont know who was worst myself or partner, but I know little one enjoyed it, so much that she wants to go back again for her 4th Birthday, which is in November! So it's time to save up again! We got it booked in for Yesterday, well thats what I was told on Friday over the telephone. Turned up yesterday, at the garage and was told it was not until the 22nd, so I was mad! As been on edge all day yesterday, and was left on edge again for another 24 hours!!!! <img src="/img/smilies/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" class="middle" border="0"></p> <p>Took car back to garage today again...... sat waiting.............. hour and 10 minutes later, car turned up in car park, so I popped to see the young girl, for the "Virdict." Was told it "failed" OMG my heart went, and my face dropped!!!! The young girl laughed and said its "Passed," took me a few minutes to realied...... I was in shock!!<img src="/img/smilies/graybigeek.gif" alt="88|" class="middle" border="0"></p> <p>At least we only spent £30 for M.O.T, and nothing else!! So that means "Summer Hoildays Here We Come!!!" Our little one broke up on Monday 14th, so really we have 7 weeks holiday with our little one!! She starts back in September but in the morning, so it will be alot better, as the day will be our's instead of waiting around until 12.45, like we was! Well we are hoping to have day trips out, plus we are going to go on holiday with our touring caravan which we can't wait to get away, as my partner been through abit in the last few months with medical problems but now is getting sorted.... "About bloody time really" its been going on since Febuary....</p> <p>We after Monday 21st we are hoping to start a small Holiday at a place called "Anderby Creek" which is not that far away from us, the only reason being is our car needs M.O.T before the 26th so money is going to be tight, but we will enjoy our holiday what ever money we have...... As we will be spending time on the beach alot, building sand castle with our daughter, plus not forgetting having a good paddle if the weather is nice..... There will be plenty of camera snaps... Well on Friday just gone our little one had her Nursery trip, they went to "Sundown Adventure Land" it was a long day really for her as she had to be at Nursey for 9:10am and returned back at Nursery at 3:00pm. It was a long day for myself and parnter, as we used to having her at home until dinner time!</p> <p>Well she had a fab day and ask "us to take her now" which we will be doing in her holidays as her last day at Nursery should be next Tuesday, but we have other appointments that we have got to attend and there is no family near by to collect her from Nursery. But was informed today that next Tuesday they will be having a "party" so she will be missing out!! Just want everything out the way and sorted ready for our holidays which will begain next month, once our little one had finished nusery! We are heading to the beautiful "Norfolk" but un-sure where we are going to stay just yet, as there's quiet a few places that look good!!</p> <p>Our aim is to get the downstairs Toilet finished, as its been on the go since begaining of April, the only reason its taking so long is, my partner's (step-father), god she going to go up the wall with me putting that as she can't stand the bloke!! But anyway he painted the walls with "Gloss." Yes you are reading right, he Glossed the walls, so we have had to sand each and every wall down, and a very dusty job its been! But that was the worst job and its all out the way now, just the painting of the wood work to do, then parnter can get to work on putting the paper up, a job she loves doing!</p> <p>Anyway back to the toilet to do the glossing, so that we can get it done by the end of the weekend!! She is a right tom boy, as loves her Train's. Her favouraite one is "Thomas the Tank" she has train sets coming out her ears! Both Wooden and hard plastic ones. Last week we went on Ebay and got her a lovely "Steam Thomas the tank train" with a little remote with it! It arrived this afternoon and was well worth £7.99 we paid for it!(I have tried to add a photo I'm just hoping that its worked!) It makes Thomas's theme tune music and steams smoke.... Our little one was well pleased with it! We ending up in Skegness. There was a few people about. And the weather was great, there was a bit of a breeze. </p> <p>The only thing letting the hold day down was when our little one wanted a Wee, we did put a pull up on just in case that we was nowhere near any Toilets, a couple of times she wanted the toilet and we was nowhere near, so told her "if she wees in pull up not to worry its not her fault" Bless her little cotton socks she didnt do anything, and waited till we could find the toilet's. Partner took her to the toilets where we normal go as they smell clear and are clean, as partner is very funny about public toilet's. On arriving at the toilets we found out that it was gonna cost 40p to take daughter to the toilet, so partner did no more and "picked" her up so it only cost 20p, but there was a cleaning assitant on, "he said put your 20p in the machine and when green light shows send the little one through, and then you do the same!" My partner is very shy and wouldnt say "boo to a goose" but this cleaning assitant really made her mad, as our little one might not have done anything,but at the end of the day I thing its all wrong to charge people to use the toilets! It cost us £1 in all with going to the toilet's and that was only with our little one! It was 10 laps around 5 Objects... ie on a slide, stepping over things, jumping and balancing etc. She did really well concidering she is a very shy Toddler, I think she had a "shock" when she came into the Hall, as she stopped in her tracks, to see all the parents. <img src="/img/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" class="middle" border="0"> At one point I thought she was going to cry! They did it in to groups of toddler's, it took each group about 25/30 mins which wasn't to bad. It was great seeing all the toddler's have fun, so of them made ya laugh the way they was doing it! (But all the kids did really great)</p> <p>I thought with all the execise our daughter, has done today she would be in bed earlier then normal, but no! 8pm again with a DVD on..... <img src="/img/smilies/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" class="middle" border="0"></p> <p>All the money that was raised is going to the Nursery and School to fund day trips out, etc. Which I think is a great idea!! Sometime in July I know that our Daughter is having a day trip out, but don't know where yet. Not had a letter about it, only that it said in a "News letter" which we get once a month! After spending time in one of the store's they couldn't come up with a great deal, so we walked away!!</p> <p>Within a few minutes we went into anyother Store and found a nice Laptop, everything that we wanted! Sales man approached asked if he could help.... I answered.. "only if you can do me a better deal then I've just been offered!!" And he was running though a few things with us, and he got us a "deal" we was looking for.. As I've still got your attention LOL</p> <p>Well I'm Robin and I live with my partner and daughter, not forgetting our 2 lovely Cavalier King Charles. Well at the minute 5, as our girl had puppies 8 weeks ago, she had a litter of 4, one of then went last Saturday, and another one goes tomorrow afternoon. Well thats enough on the dogs has they have there own blog!! It's <a href="http://www.charliesangelsdogslife.blogspot.com">www.charliesangelsdogslife.blogspot.com</a> that will give you more information on them!!</p> <p>We have a busy life, as love going to Carboots, having coffee with our friends and going on Holiday in our touring caravan, which most of all our holidays have got to be during school terms now as our 3 year old, started Nursery in January, but when we do go on holiday, it's always to Norfork as its beautiful there and the people are so friendly and we have some friends there aswell!</p> <p>Sometimes I go and chill out and do fishing at a local Lake near to Father-in-law to be, partner can't stand the sport, so she spends the day with daughter, and they do what ever they can depending on the weather etc. But they do, some craft work together as partner does "Handmade cards" so the little one gets her hands in and try's to help!</p> <p>Well thats it for now, I will post again soon!
